pens/brushes Vs sprays or airbrushes
I need to paint some 10mm wide lines on my shell... since i will only need a small amount of paint for it i was hoping to get a paint pen or small tin that i could brush on. Will the pen/brush line come out the same quality as spraying or airbrushing? Any tips or ideas to keep the colour consistent and not dull or smeary? or should i just bite the bullet and get a can and keep the leftovers as spare

The stripes will be a gloss purple... just a 10mm border around the roof, inside the border will be a middle range blue and the pillars will be black.
