Default How do you fade can paint?

Hi, i am doing a replica monster truck body, and i need to know how to fade paint. I've searched the site and couldnt come up with any thing. I need to fade red to yellow and yellow back into red. Can anyone help me? I will be using the rc car spray can paint.

you can use a piece of paper and hold it about 2 inches from the body and spray this will not give you a solid line it will be faded and then apply next color same way
hope you can understand what im saying if not ill try to make it better for you

I did this in reverse but I think you'll get the idea. White then covered it with yellow then covered the yellow with red. It's done with cans.

But you also painted yours on the outside when you paint the inside you want darker colors first so they dont bleed through lighter colors
