Well I painted my 1st body. With stickers it loks pretty good, but there was one thing I forgot. I forgot to put the window masks on!!!!!! So all of the windows are red and as yellow on the front as my only other color, it looks kinda plain. Is there any way I can take the paint off for just the windows or geting something that looks exactly the same? thanks

maybe try to tape around the windows and carefully use paint thinner to get them.

It'll make the body weaker, but you could cut teh windows out entirely

well I dont want to do that. So would brake cleaner or paint thinnger take it off? And what kind of tape should I use?

its gonna take you time and muscles and patience just to take the paint off. you can use nitro to take it out. or you can just paint the window outside black. like a tint.

get some window stickers that make them look like actual windows, but they'll be black instead of clear. As far as paint thinner, it WILL take the paint off, but it will have a foggy appearance and won't be clear like it was

You know when you paint the body you put these white things called window masks and you put them inside the body so when you paint it the windows dont get to be the same color as the body? Well that.

oh, so if you were to put them on the outside of the body? well, the material the masks are made out of won't last long, i suggest getting vinyl masks if you wanted to do it that way

Yes. Can I have a link to vinyl masks? And I posted this question on RCTech and this guy said cut out window and put window screen material. Here is a pic that the guy gave me.

He said.... I use fiberglass screen material Shoe-goo'ed on the inside on my bodies. I do this rather than just cutting out cooling holes. Looks decent and helps keep the insides cool.

So how would that work out?

meh, still looks ugly IMO, i'd rather just have vinyl masks. If you want the vinyl masks, just make them yourself, much cheaper and easier than buying pre-cuts

i think it looks kinda cool, just seems like alot of work. i would probably just mask the outside and paint them on the outside like black or grey. i know it will scratch, but seems like an easy fix.

Well I want to experiment on how the window stuff will work. I want to go to my track this week, and dont have any time to get a new body and paint it.

What do you mean? DO you want a pic of the body? It is a body that came in my xxx-t mf2 kit.
