Default painting carbon fiber

Airplane guy here. I am getting a 3-1/2 inch prop spinner and a landing gear made out of carbon fiber.
I would like to know if I can paint carbon fiber. If so, any special paints or techniques would be appreciated.

There's a few different ways to do it. I use either carbon fiber adhesive vinyl or if I want to paint it on then I use gun silver and black with carpet tape. Put the tape on, spray one color, remove tape, spray the other color.

There are other methods of course.

Look for kitchen drawer and shelf liner with the pattern that
matches carbon fiber. The higher quality liner will lay flatter
than the cheap, dollar store, liner. You can also use a heat
gun to get it to conform to curves and sharp bends easier.
