RC Car Spinning Wheels

Hey, I know pro-line is releasing their line of Spinning Wheels for monster trucks, but does anyone know where you can get some for regular Sedan RC's? They definitely exist...check out the last car on this page if you dont believe me...

Yeah I'm interested as well, anyone have any ideas for making them? Would be SO sick!!!
Would you just mount them at the center (instead of having the bearings around the outside of the rim?) You could just have some sort of ball bearing attached to the wheel nut (attached to the inner race of the bearing) and then have the outer ring of the bearing attached to the spinner...
I dunno just thinking... :)

What should I use to make the actual spinning piece? How should I attach the bearing to the wheel (should I even use ball bearings?)

hmmmm...

Spinning Wheels for monster trucks....
I saw those today for the first time--expensive add ons. Sorry for not asking about sedan wheels but I just read your post today. McLean, Virginia?

IMO, it would be pointless, on real spinners, if you curb them once, they're done, they wont spin anymore, they're easy to ruin. If they're that easy to ruin on a real car, how long would they really last on an rc car that wrecks alot more? They would be tyte, and rims to just sit look pretty on, but not for driving.

I dunno what spinning rims are but I'm taking a guess....They keep spinning after you let off the throttle...right? If so then a one-way diff is all I think you need

RE: RC Car Spinning Wheels

spinners is a rim that has an outer rim piece dat keeps movin when stoped. so it will look like the wheels still movin when it is stoped

RE: RC Car Spinning Wheels

I have an electric TC3 - I want to put real looking wheels and brake disks but dont want to spend a billion dollars doing it.

The spinning wheels would be a nice touch.
