can any one tell me the proper thinning ratio. how thin or thick it should be i want to spray it on with an air brush thanks for any info

I don't think you thin it at all. Put on a few coats to ensure it will peel up after you've cut it.

Yes for an airbrush you do thin it. it really doesent matter just like your acrylic would be but it doesent matter. the thinner the more coats you have to put on. hope this helps,

Thanks for the step-in clarification, masterblaster. I guess now I think about it, the Bob Dively LMF I use would be a little too thick for an airbrush. I wonder why the bottle doesn't give people a formula of sorts to follow for thinning?

I use a Campbell Hausfeld IronForce Detail Spray Gun. Mix the LM 2 parts LM to 1 part water, maybe more or less. Crank up the air pressure to about 30 psi. Spray a light mist coat followed by about 6 heavier coats. Use a hairdryer in between coats to make sure each coat is dry. Don't spray too much on one coat because it takes forever to dry with the hairdryer.

I heard someone say 2:1 but I'm not 100% sure on that. I just brush mine on.
