how would you hold down a mesh to the inside

how would you hold down a mesh to the inside of the body as i would like to do some special effect painting to a new body the mesh must not move as it will take several coats to get the effect. anyone have any ideas

maybe try painting it like normal and then "stamp" the mesh onto the still wet paint. You could put more coats on top after stamping to make it blend in a little better. Just an idea. Best of luck!

I know what you are talking about laserman2. You are looking for the same thing as me. I think it's a spray adhesive of some sort you apply to the mesh. But instead of sticking like crazy like other spray glues, it easily peals away.

yeah but what i want it to do is like this, take a fishnet stocking and stretch it so it makes a pattern then paint it then take the stocking off and then do the detail work so it looks like snake scales

A Pro Modeller friend of mine came up with the method for me to do this i will post pics and instructuions on how this is to be done but basicly what my bud suggested was to make a mix of 60% water with 40% white glue or less glue soak the mesh material in the glue mix then lay it out on the out side of the bodyafter thourly wringing it out so there is just enough to hold it then let it dry, once dry carefully peel off the out side then place it on the inside and do your painting. One thing you should leave enough matieral out so you can clip it to the excess plastic that is on the body. hope this tip helps some of you out there

Might try the picture glue from XXX main in small amounts placed in key areas to hold it down
