RE: CA Model XURAMA BIPLANE Build Glow Powered
test flights today.
The airplane flew great, very slow, CG was almost perfect, few adjustement needed, so far I have rud to ail mix 3%, rud to elev 2% after more testing I can tell more, only 4 flights today. but so far its a great airplane for sure, Rudder authority is amazing so rolling maneuvers are very easy to make.
I will post a full report after the trimming process is completed.

Tuny,
WHat prop did you decide on for this plane.
The Plane looks amazing. I'm surprised we haven't seen more people flying this design. One of the Better looking biplanes out there.

This is an excellent thread and excellent craftsmanship. Are there things you would change now that you have been flying the plane for a while? Also, when I talked to you at the world championships, I understood you said the plane weighed 1850 grams, is that correct? Congrats on your success at the Worlds.
thanks,
Mike Harrison

Hey, Dave,
it was great to meet you. i believe it can be done electric, although very difficult. i am not sure what i will do. according to others the 1.75 CDI is much improved over previous models and it will be much easier to make weight. the anti battery rule needs to go away but that is another discussion.

Hello Gregg.
yes, this is a stock kit, I modified the fuselage to use glow power, and made my own formers.
