Default Muncie hotels

Any recommendations regarding the Muncie hotels? Or at least hotels to stay away from? I'm looking to book today for the D4 contest in two weeks!

Thanks in advance!

Hi Anthony,
I will be staying at the Hoilday Inn Express, but this will be my first time staying there. So I hope that it will be OK

Any experiences with Super 8 or Best Western?

Guess I'll find out. I just booked Super 8 for under a $100 for the weekend. We'll see if it's a good value. Hopefully Bill will have a spare bed at the Holiday Inn if the Super 8 is a disaster

Still would like to see experiences/opinions though. It would be a help for those coming to Nats/Worlds.

FWIW the AMAdiscount at Best Western was quoted to me as 64.95/night for the weekend of 5/20-5/22.

I've stayed at the Super 8 the last two years for the Nats and it is fine. Actually, bringing my dog it is the best option.

The last two times that I have been to the Nats we have stayed at the Holiday Inn Express. Clean, close to IHOP, Wal-Mart etc. and we are booked in there for the WC and the Nats.

There may be a room available at the Days Inn.  I just cancelled.  With losinbg my job and gas currently at $4.00 and expected to rise, I just can't afford it this year.
