I rarely stray more than a point or two from that curve on pattern planes I've flown in the last few years.

Joe, with the SD-10G the points go from -100 (idle) to 100 (full throttle) so Dave's numbers are an excellent guide for what the curve should look like.
I took me a while to figure out what Dave has of course known for a long time, that the curve should be a lot steeper at the beginning.
I have an SD-10G and the numbers look like this:
Pt 1: -99%
Pt 2: -78%
Pt 3: -34%
Pt 4: 30%
Pt 5: 60%
Pt 6: 76%
Pt 7: 92%
Pt 8: 98%
Pt 9: 100%
I am running the Himax 6330-210 and CC 85HV, so YMMV. \

Thanks Dave! Is it linear from 44/79 to 100/100?
As I sort of expected, much steeper than what I had at the bottom, but levels off much sooner. I felt like top end was fast but lacked torque getting there, this should fix that.

Good point! I use the "expo on" or smoothing function of the 12X, so the points are connected with an arc, and not a straight line (which would be the case if the expo on on was not used).

Thanks guys.
Yeah, last year I think I talked to Dave, told me about the steep curve at lower throttle. Been using it for my Scorpion, but was way off when I switched to the Neu.
Played around with the numbers in my SD10G (inputs values are fixed) and got Dave's curve within a point here and there. Much, much steeper curve for low stick positions, just need to smooth out curve from pts 5-9.
