Nope! There was some talk of "adjusting" it before you flew it though!

Thanks,

Nice weather.... around 80F, ~5mph wind, you cannot ask more...
There are 8 Sportsman pilots! Even more than the Master class!
We had 3.5 AMA and 2 Classic flights today. Post some pictures first, details will follow tomorrow.

Such a great contest! Amazing Tri-Tip, Pulled Pork, and Taco Night! Oh and the flying was great too! This contest really pressed me and made me focus unlike any other this year. Way to go Peter Vogel, putting down the best flight I have EVER seen from you. Team Tailwinds was representing with almost 1/4 of the entrants making the trek from SoCal! Huge thanks again to Tony for all the coaching and help during the contest, he helped me get my head straight on Sunday so I could squeeze out a few really good flights! Also enjoyed calling for Gary Banducci! Hope I spelled that right. Came from 8th place up to 3rd!!! The old Gary is back!! Thank you to the entire NorCal group for such a great time with great food and great friends! Definitely making plans to attend again next year! Congrats to fellow Tailwind member Robert Fish for a great win in Advanced, and Don Fox for his win in classic! Looking forward to all the photos! And Dale I'm jealous of the progress on your EU1A! Looking good so far and that wing was damn light!! Since the crash of my Saphir my Escape is being refurbished and will be a special plane when re-done! It's gonna be what I feel classic planes should be, remembering our early experiences and pattern roots. Two guys in particular will be remembered with this plane, I am hoping it comes out as good as I have it in my mind. Simply can't wait for its completion!

Many thanks to the Nor-Cal crew for such a memorable event. The contest was as smooth as glass, and the Taco Party alone was worth the drive! Thank you Jon and Dale for including CPA Classic Pattern, fully half of the field participated. Thank you Chip for the loan of your retract pump- I spaced out on that critical piece of equipment. Special thanks go out to my lovely wife Jennifer for her support and flawless calling, and to my coach Tony Frackowiak for your guidance over the season. Jon Bruml, you are a gentleman and a worthy competitor. Our mutual agreement to push each other has elevated our flying to a new level. See you at Arvin!

Here are a couple of pics to enjoy.

Many thanks Jamie and Robert for the kind words! I also want to thank all of the pilots who made the effort to come to the contest! I really try and make this the best and most fun event that I can every year and it's greatt to hear positive feedback! I also want to thank the 9, yes that's right, 9 Sportsman pilots who attended! It was great seeing new faces and new blood!

Thanks again and we will try and make it even better next year!

I think Carter is "adjusting" them so the North will win this year...

Nah! I only have to do that for the District Championships.

They should be posted on the website soon.
