Default Lighter Flange mounted Nose Ring for YS engines

My new flange mounted Nose Ring is now available thru CK Aero. Check it out in the Shinden section at
http://www.ckaero.net/documents/flange_ring.pdf

Lighter than the aluminum nose rings, it weighs 9 grams (including o-ring, and included mounting hardware). We have been flying these for over 6 months during the testing, on YS 160, 170, 175, and 185s. Will also fit a YS 140.

Be sure to check out the Drill guide. No more guessing to drill the mounting holes and then having to slot them to get the nose ring to fit and align thrust. This is a great tool when it comes to aligning the nose ring and drilling the mounting holes accurately.

So if already using a CH nose ring, this will bolt straight in?

Yes it will. You can use the existing two mounting holes, it'll bolt right up. It's optional to add the other two mounting holes, but I find they really make for a solid installation.
