Default Motor mount question

Hello, does anybody have any experience with this motor mount type?
I'm considering it for an OS 160 fx + nose ring, but not sure how good they work on a 2 stroke engine.

Regards

From what I remember they were reasonably effective. Not as effective as a Hyde mount but also not as expensive. Much less movement for less broken headers and cowls, etc.

I agree with Anthony. I ran a Bully 120PR for 1100 flights with the Bully version of the lord type mount. It used 5 .60 sized Lord mounts and worked very well. The Sullivan large engine version uses 4 much larger Lord mounts. I liked the 5 way better - easier to fit. I'll try to find it and upload a photo.

A bit of caution is good with Lord type mounts. The studs / nuts are molded into the elastomer - no through bolt as with those used with Budd mounts. The elastomer will degrade with time / fuel / oil exposure. Can be OK if sized correctly and changed occasionally - otherwise engine departus.

Thank you very much all for your answers. I heard about Budd soft mounts, they are very cheap and seem good products
Maybe is a good option to buy a Budd mount and nose ring

You could always make your own hyde style mount. Search MTK's thread on the gas engines and you should be able to find it.
Lots still have some hanging around that they would sell. Myself included.
