Is the YS ignition rpm signal output compatible for use with the Futaba telemetry sensor SBS-01RM? The telemetry sensor is the magnet type and the TX I am using is the 18SZ.

Yes, if you do not supply electrical power to the sensor it works, else the sensor gets very hot.
I use 18MZ, but can see any reason why it should not work using a 18SZ.

See attached sketch. I cut the +wire between the sensor and the ignition box.
My first explaination was ambigious!
