Hello

Seen on facebook CPLR
" OREKA +, my new design made by HuiYangF3A.
An evolution of OREKA; the flying qualities were already exceptional but were further enhanced with a new wing, new ducts and different wing positioning on the fuselage.
The power of the airbrakes was increased thanks to a larger rope, which allows really very slow vertical descents but above all it allows braking while maintaining the motor traction necessary for all maneuvers piloted in descent. The power of the ailerons has also been increased to control and facilitate launching in all configurations. All these improvements hoped for at design time have been confirmed in flight future OREKA. "

Thanks for the thread the French remain at the top of this game and CPLR even surpassed the great Hanno with number of WC won. Both are GOATs in F3A. Great to still see a portion in YS.

Thank you Claude,

Would I be correct in saying that the OREKA+ has less sweepback and a bigger Rudder.......
Does it exhibit any roll coupling divergence like the classic OREKA.........??

regards

I asked friend of mine who was in championship. He told me he hadn't seen a difference
On the first photo, the plane in front is Oreka and the one behind is Oreka +. hard to see the difference.
Second photo is the 5 finalists.

Out of the 50 planes, many are equipped with Huiyang and Pegase composite (Pascal Nowik).
Only 3 aircraft of personal construction (Two from my build and one from a friend)

Interesting comment about using the bigger brakes to keep a bit of power on in the downline. I can only imagine a bit of extra wind from the prop would give the elevators and rudder something to work with.

One would think the contra fliers would have noticed any control authority issues being stuck behind a big airbrake in a downline by now?

Not sure about the rudder, but the wing does have less sweep back.

Hello

Arnaud Poyet said
"For the past few weeks, I've been testing Adam's new contra, the TMCR21. It is very smooth and very pleasant to use, with a nice and more low noise.
The power is very impressive.
Consumption is a little lower. I use 3300/3400mAh for a large P under normal conditions and 3500/3600mAh for a large F under the same conditions. "

So on French championship he used D3 ESC with contra motor D3 TMCR'21 on his plane Oxygéne

So do I with my Xareltoo, but we're not talking about those.
The Oreka is completely different. You need to fly one to know.
