Default Most beautiful flying site

I saw this on a Japanese website.

Does anyone know where it is, so I can googleearth it?

Are there any other flying sites as scenic?

those are someincredible pics, I envy you guys. We have to drive about 1 hour to get to a decent field in the northern virginia area. All the good spots have been swallowed by townhouse communites or bought out by industrial complexes..

the pic with what appears to be Mt Fuji in the background is just beutiful

The pictures of the flying field in Alaska are Alaska Radio Control Society's field in Palmer, Alaska (about 40 miles north of Anchorage). I had the good fortune of flying at that site for several years. A great field and a great group of people.

This is the home of 3 time world pylon champion Chris Callow at the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. Here we have hot summers and cool summers, but no winters.

San Jose, CA. Not so scenic, but a nice place to fly. Snack shack open during events, coke machine always available, maintained well. A/C always on for electrics.

Here is a 360 degree virtual tour of the field..

I envy all of you guys. When I finally relocate, the quality of the local flying fields will have a lot to do with where I purchase a house. Currently I have to drive a minimum of 45 minutes to get to a field that is adequate at best.

Do whatever you have to do to keep your field. Our club has been moving around like Gypsies and it is no fun at all.

While still without our own club field (we were trown out a couple of years ago for reason I don't want to disclose in order to avoid general laughter and disbelief...), I have flown at some very nice sites. Shown here is Chamonix, France, at the feet of Mont Blanc (4808 m above sea level), where we held the European Cup in F3A-H (Hydro) in 2000. Amazing.

No mountains in the Netherlands, but still a nice site! Most importantly, we recently as a club bought the field ourselves, so we can't be thrown out that easy anymore. 12 minutes drive from home....

The field itself is 200 by 300 feet.

I have had the pleasure of visiting your field and I thought it was very nice! Plenty of room to fly and nothing to disturb you guys. Friendly bunch of guys also. Please check pictures from our last fly in.
