I can't vote.

But I will be there to steal the masters trophy from you lowly D6 guys and prove D3's superiority.

*ahem*

Who will be flying for you then?

Anyway, I'm just going for the food, drink, and heckling.

Ok, lets make this interesting..... D6 is willing to put Brett Wickizer's Beryl paint job on the line here..... If D3 wins more places than D6, Brett has to personally paint the bottom of his Beryl fuselage at the Cajun Nationals ..... plus a bonus..... Brett conducts a seminar for D3 fliers on how to change the tail type on their 14 MZ radios.

Paybacks are tough.

D3 won't need any extra space to take home their trophies.

Hey Ron,

Glad to hear D6 has something to offer!

BTW, the seminar on changing tail types -- you guys have to make sure your model isn't saved to the CF card or it won't work right. Trust me on this one. No seriously, trust me! Ron is sure about this one, just ask him

The D6 FAI guys have agreed that they would like to fly P09 for all rounds at the N Dallas / SPARKS / Cajun Nats events this fall. Each CD has been contacted and provided with a sample scoresheet. N Dallas & SPARKS have responded and will fly P09 for all F3A rounds. No word yet if the Cajun Nats plans to do so also. Several of the D6 Masters guys have also obtained the F3A sequences and are welcome to give it a try. (Everyone has the same prep time.) Anyone who would like the new F3A sequences and/or a P09 scoresheet is welcome to contact me directly.

You D3 guys should come over for the Gulf Coast Pattern Championship August 25-26 so you can get your engines set for the heat and humidity![8D]

I'm betting on D6 myself<G>.

The Cajun Nats is a 2 day contest... it's the last one of the year for D6, and if our Dixie contest (held at the Crowley field this year) was any indication of the potential turnout... there will probably be 40+ entrants. I know Jon also has a great pilots' dinner set up for Saturday night. Prolly gonna be some good Jambalaya, and I've heard rumors of a cajun comedian and a band!!! It should be one heck of a party, he might even squeeze in a pattern contest at some point over the weekend!

So supposing I used to live in Louisiana and I flew in some D3-D6 shootout, who would claim me? Would it be a toss of a coin, or bloody cage match to the death?

If you are from Louisiana ( D6 ) you are a better Pattern pilot then anyone in D3.
There would be no need to put you on the loosing side,
we would be happy to claim you

If the pilots from d-3 come down to d-6 and fly and being in a strange land and following local customs as one is supposed to do are we going to have to follow local customs? because there are some in d-3 that might have a problem with KISSING there sisters or having to MARRY a cousin or something!!!!!!!!!

Heard back from Jon - the Cajun Nats will use the P09 sequence for F3A for all rounds.
