I would say no problems.
There are many peole that use small packs and feild charge between flights.
Back in my fun fly days I used a tiny 280 mah NICAD pack and the was running 5 high power normal sized servos and the working far more than those on a pattern plane.
5 min non stop extreme flying could be had easliy. The control (servo response) would dramatically slow down as the pack neared emtpt after that... but you still had 45sec of gently flying to land before cut out.[X(]
Only in a fun fly eh?

I use the 10403 5 cell flat pack. I get 8 flights without problem, and that includes my 3D planes which get a real workout with high torq high speed digitals. If you don't want or need the extra 2 oz. then use the 1000Mh pack you'll still get 6 or 8 flights on regular servos. Just remember to always check V before every flight, including the first. If you have some lead on your plane, use the 2600 and you can get rid of some of it, if you gotta add weight make it useful if you can. IMHO

You should have no problems with that setup. Just be aware of your voltages. Make sure you check your voltages regularly and learn how quickly it'll drop off. Depending on your engine choice you'll get more or less flights per charge,

Mark I have one of these and it only checks 750 Ma on my cycler. Not enough power for digitals. Maybe ok if you run 2 packs. Keep shopping. Brian

Lately, I've been using the Hobbico 2000 mah Hydrimax 4 cell packs. These are high discharge capable batteries...that can take the instantaneous high current of some of the digital servos. These packs weigh little if any more than previous 1100 mah packs. I can fly, fly, fly without any field recharging. I can fly all weekend at a contest on one charge.
Just a thought. I'm sure that others have their own preferences.
