Carrier apparently had other commitments he was not able to get out of and was not able to make it this year.

In a couple of pictures I saw he was with his Comp - ARF Integral but he added a T Canalizer. He calls it the INTEGRAL-X

One more, it seems that his plane has a thicker TE rudder

Cool...I like the idea of minor upgrades for the Integral.

I'm certain that there are real benifits to this and the T-can or Jason would have just opted for a different plane. I sure hope he shares the changes so the rest of us can upgrade this very popular design.

Just noticed the name on the side...Integral X.

I wonder what else has changed?

Its MUCH larger too . .

I felt the standard rudder was quite effective, but I don't fly at Jason's level. Interesting . .

I don't think the rudder is larger...it would exceed the 2M limit. Thicker TE...maybe.

Jason's got to provide he details when he can.

The new rudder was built my Mark Hunt... definitely a thicker trailing edge.

Morning flying is complete - we got a late start due to low overcast. I was down on flight line B all morning and no one really stood out. Jason had a good flight but not spectacular - the same with Onda and CPLR/BPLR. From flight line A I saw that QQ had the best raw score (from what I can see of the scores posted). No full round scores are posted yet for either flight line.

Has any one got any more details on Jason’s Integral X? i.e. Span, chord, incidence and height of his T Canalizer. Plus what is the thinness of the TE of his rudder?

The canalizer is a stock CA models variety.

The rudder has a different trailing edge, 1/2" further out in the back and 1/2" further in at the top IIRC, and and I'm not sure how thick the TE is. It's not as wide as the fin post.

Thanks Derek.
Do you guys know how many advance to the Semi's?
Can you tell us what kind of weather conditions they are flying in? Thanks, Mike Mueller

I believe they will take 30 into the semis. Today was actually really good flying conditions - started off overcast and hardly any wind and then the clouds burnt off and the wind was either quartering in (in the morning) or quartering out (in the PM) but not very hard at all - probably around 5 mph at the most. It has now clouded over again and cooled down dramatically - around the low 70's. It is 5pm here at the site and they atre still flying - probably about 2/3 the way through the round. All the of the US are finished flying along with the French and Japanese. Canada are still flying (or have just flown) on site B.

We fly facing west in the morning and then after lunch all the judges and contestants move across the runway and face east... sun is not a problem for most of the time.

Looking at Andrew's score sheet, I'm curious how 3 judges see his 1/2 outside loop as a 10, and one scores it a 6. I mean.. I understand people see things differently, but damn.. 4 points? TBLR should sort that out, but that judge does seem to be giving significantly lower average scores per maneuver.

The judge is either blind, didn't see the manuever, or is a cheater with an agenda. There's no way 3 can see a 10 and a guy can give a 6. Mike

Hey Guy's, just got a e-mail back from JetLegend, on the street price of the Neptuno. the cost is for the ARF only $1800 dollar's shipped, now if you want it
faster add $300 dollars an they ship it DHL. Check out flight line B, it looks just like a finals
Jarvis and everyone....

The price of the kit is $2000 which includes a $200 hardware package (tank, wheels, horns, axles, wheelpants, landing gear, etc.)... and the price of the shipping is probably going to be over $400 with DHL. I am the US distributor for the kit - more details will follow shortly and anyone can order directly from me. The kit will change with the electric version - it will be a plug-in wing and a removable canopy to allow access to the fuselage quickly and easily. The glow kit weighed in at 4780g with a YS CDI motor in it - very light. As you can see from the pictures the plane is built-up and is very well built. It is glassed and painted as well. Custom color schemes can be done but the cost will be extra depending on the number of colors. I've seen this plane fly for about 50 flights now and the plane flies very, very well... I'm very impressed with the workmanship on it and the way it presents as well.
