I know about that plane. It even came into my shop a couple years ago for certain fixes to fit other engines....

No I don't havea 2 meter in mind, more like a 2.5 meter, and around 15 lbs or so weightwise. Not F3A legal, just for funsies. The DLE55 on pipe is a pretty strong set-up and will handle the chore perfectly

ORIGINAL: aerobear

ORIGINAL: MTK

An OS GT 44 twin........
My cystal ball only sees a single cylinder.
Could be. ....it would not surprise me..... If it was similar to their 33 in designit would likely equal the DLE55 in power at considerably lower weight

But it just might be simpler to take two 22 jugs and stick'em on a new case. Their 22's are very strong too.....Would be great if we could swing a 22x10 or slightly bigger at around 6800 on cheap fuel

I would also love to see a carb on the OS's with the rotating drum similar to glow engines. Walbro has one for boats but it's a pain adapting the throttle control arm for planes.....

It would be great if one of the factory pilots used a gas engine in the upcoming World Champs and placed high with it.
