Impulse XP
 

Haven't seen much about this plane. Wood/composite painted frame for $1500 is a good deal. Also "EP" version.

I've seen that hanging from the ceiling at Radar Models in Hong Kong. It's pretty nice looking. I think they must have lowered the price. Don't know how it flies but the workmanship of the model at the shop looks good.

The World Models came out with two 2M planes about a year ago or so ago. When they first came out, I believe that they were asking for more than 2K for each. It is interesting that they have lowered they price; probably an indication that they are not selling very well. There are now within the price range of an unfinished CARF Integral. Interesting.

Two flyers in my club are building Impuse XP's.  One is glow powered and the other electric.  The glow version is nearly done and may fly this weekend.  The electric version requires alot of weight reduction surgery to make the 5 kg/11 lb limit.t.  I will post updates once they fly.  BTW, the workmanship on these planes is excellent and, if it flies well, it will be a real bargain.

I believe the Super Tai Jai is in the 2K region. The Impulse runs around 1,500. I special ordered one with a yellow base coat and Ron Van Putte got a white one. The yellow one is a cub yellow and the trim colors do a good job of standing out. I like the airplane and hopefully we'll test fly it on Friday.

This is I think around 6-7 year old design...Turkish BM models in Canada(?) had them a friend off mine have one ..flies ok .
If it ok for P011 ..dont know!
