my new digital level for incidence
1 Attachment(s)
Bought originally for helis, but seems to lend itself well to my plane setup. Best part is it only ways 1.2oz, substantially lighter then all the others I've seen.

RE: my new digital level for incidence
Looks good. What brand and source?

RE: my new digital level for incidence
Not so sure its gonna work out that well for me, I suspect the robart mount won't allow me to duplicate the readings, to much slop in it, even though I've tried to minimize it.
Brand is rclogger. readyheli.com carries them. |
RE: my new digital level for incidence
Rm,
Sand the tops of the wing clamps and glue a piece of hard birch wood on top. Drill a hole from the top through the wood and wing clamp into the track of the aluminum bar. Tap the hole for 6/32 bolt and use a 6/32 as a push down the aluminum bar inside the wing clamp and with the screws on the side this will hold the clamps still on the aluminum bar. I don't have any picks but I could get you some tonight when I'm home from work. Sometimes it's hard to describe in words what something is suppose to look like. Well it is for me. :D Thanks for the info on your meter and hope it works out for you. Oh one thing, on my robart wing clamps I used med. CA to hold the birch wood in place and if you don't tighten it too much it will hold a long time. Mine has been glued on now for over a year. Thanks Larry |
