I am ready to start planning. When and where is the best place to look?

I am happy to say that Iris had a great time at the D4 finale and is looking forward to a few more contests this year, which means I get to make it to a few more contests this year!! We are especially excited for St. Clairsville.

We're probably going to pick a date for St.C. tomorrow, Joe. It'll be good to have you back.

St. Clairsville is slated for Aug 25th and 26th unless something has changed.

Where is the best place to see the calendar? I remember last year there was somewhere besides Nscrc->Districts->D4->D4 Calendar.

Go to the message board archive on the NSRCA site and you can get some information on a few tentative dates. I'm not sure anything is finalized yet....but we may be spending a lot of time in Muncie this year, lol.

What's the issue with the hebron ky site? No early contest there either? I like that one, close to home.

Rick ask me to post the pics on my progress painting the Black Magic. Thanks for the help today Rick. The extra set of hands was greatly appreciated. The plane is all white underneath and here she is with the shot of Orange. The Black is next. Mark Atwood had some of the nicest Black Magics I've seen. This one will be similiar but with different colors.

Iwish I knew Joe. In the Dec. 2011 K-Factor, Dave Johnstone mentions the field may not be available. There really wasn't any specific information. But he reserved Muncie for Sept 29-30 so if Hebron is not available, D4 wouldn't have to try to scramble for a site late in the season I guess. I haven't heard any other news regarding this situation, which is why I posted it that way.

I did not see the TORK's contest listed. It normally takes place in early June. Is it being replaced by the NATs warm up?

The TORKS lost their field, Teo. They put an access road to the landfill arcoss one end of the runway. Ron and Douane are working on a contest at another location.

Your VF3 looks FABULOUS!!!!!!!! Now if we can get you into a Senior radio instead of the JR one your flying then maybe you can keep it for a while.

Hmm. I'll see what I can find out. Technically it's my 'club' although being about an hour away, I'm not very in tune with the politics.
