Long Servo Leads

Has anyon used long servo leads from servowires.com? I'm trying to avoid connecting several leads to rear mounted elevator servos in a Valiant.
Thanks

Do you know how to solder?

If so, you could get a long roll of servo wire and use the male and female ends from 2 shorter servo extensions to make a 4-wire dual-elevator extension. The red and black are soldered together with their respective colors, with separate signal wires for each servo. In short, common power and ground and separate signal. I have done this a couple of times and it works great and makes for a neater installation.

Bob,

Are you stripping the separate signal wire off of another roll, or are you sourcing 4-wire ribbons?

Thanks!

Ryan, yes stripping off the extra signal wire, saving the extra red/black for use as battery leads when needed.

I heard somewhere in the past that somebody makes 4-wire bulk stock for this purpose, but I have not been able to find it. If anyone knows where to get it I would like to know.

Another advantage of doing it this way is that one can customize the extension lengths as necessary and not have a lot of excess wire.
