RE: Pattern video

Someone gave me video they recorded at the NATS. Its of several fliers in each class, Its pretty decent quality and runs a couple of hours. Also shows some of the facilites in Muncie. If you would like I can see if I'm able to check with him on releasing this video.

Thanks,
Don

Mikee,
The video of F3A P03 can be watched at the following site.
Mr. Akiba operated it in 2002.
He is a Japanese champion of F3A in 2003.

I am sorry for all.

1) First, open the following site.
http://www.geocities.jp/tamu1643/main/menu_j.htm
2) Click on "γƒ*ービークγƒͺップ " in the left screen.
3) Proceed on the next screen, and click on "η§‹θ‘‰ζ΄‹δΈ€ιƒŽιΈζ‰‹" in about the center of a screen, and save it in your file.
4) Then, watch it by the movie.

Thanks a lot, now it works:) . Now I seem to recognize Mr Suzuki and Hirose at the beginning of the other video. Is this correct ?
The flight site looks a lot better than most I have seen in Japan on river banks.

I'm not sure if I got to the same video because I don't have the correct font installed, but on the one I saw the 45 deg. up 1 1/2 snap wasn't a snap. At least it would have gotten a zero from me.

I'd like to hear what some of you masters and FAI pilots out there thought about the vertical 1 1/2 snap into 2 of 4? To me it looked pretty marginal as to whether it actually snapped before the last 1/2 turn. I'm interested to see what some experienced eyes think (to help educate myself).

It's really hard to tell anything about positioning from the video, but it looked like the wings weren't level a lot of the time, maybe it was just the camera angle. What do you guys think?

All the same, it's really nice to see some pattern video.

Picking these apart can be very educational. :)

Well, I just found another video. The one I commented about previously was titled "akiba".

Tend to agree with you Keith.

The model does 'break', but I also understand that at the world champs snapping was a VERY hot topic. We all know that we try and soften the ends of the snaps to hit the line after the action. It certainly appears that he may have just flown it out.

Cheers

I'm sorry to be late.
"γƒ*ービークγƒͺップ" is the 15th from the top of the left column.
I am worried about whether you know it.
