Hi,

Looking forward to sit back and relax with an ice cold coca-cola or even better, a beer, and look at a finished Twister. But as you can se, I have a lot of work to do to get to that stage.

Glen, that has got to be one of the nicest looking Brio's I've seen.
The curves of your design are VERY complimentary to the airframe shape... it make it look even better and that isn't easy to do.
Nice job.

Thought I would post a pic of my new Genesis. We just finished painting the fuse yesterday. I still have to cover the wings. I enjoyed painting it. The lines on the fuse are easy to make a color scheme. We used PPG paints. The pic of the drawing was what we followed to paint. Mike Mueller

Glen,

Great job on the Brio! Are you going to fly that or the Partner this year?

RE: post some pictures of your pattern plane!!

Jeff,

For now the nod goes to the Partner... Kinda nice to have options, not use to that...

Coming to Temple later this month?

First, this pattern plane is quite old, a D. Hanson model, Ariel. The plane may be as old at 26 years..but has been
carefully refurbished. the fuselage is fiberglass and sports new paint job for the new millineum(sp). Retracts are original and, has
aluminum wing tube and pull-pull rudder. The engine presently in pics will be replaced with a ys of course..unless another
suitable engine is suggested as better (fit and power).
This is my 1st pattern and don't plan to compete, I just love the lines of the planes and their maneuvers(sp).
Here are some pics:

That's a beauty. It may be an old design, but still very capable.....I believe an Ariel placed 2nd at last years Nats in the Advanced class?
