St Clairsville Pattern with the Chickens
 

Just a reminder that the St C R/C Flyers justifiably famous chicken roast where a pattern contest happens will be held on August 23, 24 and 25. The field will be open for practice around 11:00 Friday.
Some of our regulars will be doing us proud representing our country in South Africa so we're hoping everyone else will make a special effort to be with us.
As last year, Sportsman pilots in their first contest fly free, and that includes lunch both Saturday and Sunday.

We've heard that hotel rooms are hard to come by this year. Bill Kutchell has checked around and found some....he's posted the links on the NSRCA message board.
If you can't access that let me know and I'll try to post them here.

Econo Lodge, Comfort Inn and Super 8 all say they have rooms.

Wouldn't miss it.

We've heard that some contestants are having trouble finding hotel rooms in St Clairsville. Please be advised that there are also hotels in Wheeling, WV, 20 minutes east of the field, and Cambridge, OH, 30 minutes west. You may have better luck if you expand your search a little.

HI All,
The field will be open noonish on Friday. Gate will be open at 8 on Saturday with sign up at 9. Pilots meeting at 10 and wheels up at 11. We have a problem with the Sun until then.
There will be lunch provided on Friday. World famous chicken with all the fixins on Saturday and locally famous Cathie's hot sausage on Sunday.

Oh yeah,.... There will be a Pattern contest too!

I was planning to come but it looks like all you'll be doin is eatin and I want to fly.
