Tres magnifique ! I am waiting for a quote on shipping from Pascal.

Do you happen to know whether the wings (and stab) were painted or film covered ??

Thanks,

Steve

Fred,

That's one serious back brace you have there! That babies not going anywhere..... :D

Portlandflyer 05-01-2014 10:31 AM

Fred,

Can you get some pictures of your wing hold downs please.

Thanks

Frederic Verroust 05-01-2014 11:22 AM

For the back fixation you are right it's serious ! but I've make this with carbon and balsa also it's not very heavy but it's strong.
I post other pictures for the wings nuts and carbon tube in the wings later because I havent my Xareltoo with me today, I take pictures this week end.

beautifull, what about tracking and snapping capabilities?

Frederic Verroust 05-12-2014 04:09 AM

Hello,

Any problem with the snap and just very little rudder for knife edge, the flying line is straight.

Ryan Smith 06-10-2014 07:34 AM

Fred,

Can you tell me what the red material you use as a cushion for the canopy is called? Where do you buy it?

PL Prod used similar material on their airplanes, and I cannot find it anywhere. The closest I can find is 1.2mm thick and is much thicker than this tape you are using. Please help!

Frederic Verroust 06-13-2014 04:40 AM

Ryan,

I bought mine in supermarket, is 0.7 mm thicker Venilia and is perfect for me, I'm sure you can find the same in US !!!

Looks nice, but the wings are too close together...It will never get off the ground.

My Xereltoo is about ready for paint and wrinkle coat, so there will be one more in the air soon (or not because the wings are too close together).
