WSRC Pattern Contest in Mocksville, NC
8 Attachment(s)
Here are some photos from the contest this weekend in Mocksville, NC. Great people, great food, great weather (other than a "little" crosswind) resulted in a great contest. Thanks Terry for hosting it once again and for all the pilots who attended. Lots of fun. If anyone has any other pics of the contest, please share them with us.
Thanks Kevin |
I echo Kevin's comments. Great contest with great weather. Even with sun issues, we were able to get out of there early on Sunday after flying 6 rounds. Terry always does a wonderful job. Hopefully soon we can get him flying again.

Are there any results posted for this contest?

I know Buff usually gets them up on the NSRCA site fairly quickly.
From Memory though: Sportsman (both came down from MD) 1. Steve Franc 2. Chris Martin Intermediate 1. Roger Jones 2. Don Manson 3. Gerald Hood Advanced 1. Kevin Duncan 2. Charles Simmons 3. Robert Gainey Masters 1. Marvin Marozas 2. Joey Hayes (Glad to see him back flying pattern) 3. Braxton Dudley (Been out of pattern for nearly 20 years and came back strong) FAI 1. Archie Stafford 2. Dale Arnold |
Thanks for the information, The current computer I am on will not allow me to see the NSRCA site.

I must be really ancient. I remember flying against Braxton. LOL
You've been ancient for a while! |
Joe beware Braxton still flys good, we have a little work to do but not much to get back up there. Every flight he put in got better. He hope to be at the FARM contest later this month.
