Culpeper Model Barnstormers is hosting it's second pattern contest , which will also be DISRICT 2 CHAMPIONSHIP on Sept. 13-14. Field is open for partice on Friday Sept 12.
Camping is allow NO HOOKUP contact Nic Burhans for camping. Go to club web site for field direction and hotel infor.( hotel with 10min. of field)

Alright we are getting down on the date. Only eight days left until contest. As like last year we will be give\ing away special awards . This year the District 2 CHAMPIONSHIP are been hosted at contest.
If your'e coming please register on line or let us know. There's a couple of close pilots in the running for district champion that are within apiont and this contest will decide who wins in those classes.
Come out and have a great time.

Don I don't thing Bill is coming this year. I am at field already this morning Friday.weather is cool and breeze.weather for weekend slitgh chance of a rain shower on saturday nothing major.

I would like to THANK all the PILOTS that came out this weekend to the contest. Things starter out if ly on Suturday with some light rain showers, which cause a few stopage. Once if stop raining we had a low cloud cover for a while, which open up allowing us to contine flying. Sunday was a complete diffrent thing blue skys and sunny, we flew two more ruonds and finished by 12:30. We had 20 p[ilots in total.
