Lets have SPA pattern contests in the Mid Atlantic Region

Let me propose the establishment of some annual Senior Pattern Association(S.P.A.) pattern contests in the -MID ATLANTIC STATES Atlantic Region The interest in "our region" seems positive and numerous according to the two SPA threads posted here reciently at RCU. The Senior Pattern Association has several annual pattern contests in Alabama and Georgia but non in the Mid Atlantic region. Steve Byrum and other board members at S.P.A. should be glad I think to assist in sponsoring and establishing pattern contests In Maryland,Virginia,Deaware and Pennsylvania regions.[sm=sunsmiley.gif]

Please let me know what I can do to assist. A club in the Norfolk area held an SPA teaser last month. 11 or 12 club members flew the Sportsman and Novice with whatever they had with a bonus for SPA legal. John Gausby is a little north of Richmond. I just checked my records. If you'll email me privately, I've got one other name in your state and a few in North Carolina. I realize that's not close, but it's north and east of SPA's base.
