3M-170

HI MINTOR USER
I HAVE SOME QUESTION FOR YOU.

1- WEN I START THE ENGINE I HAVE TO ACELERATE TO FULL THROTLE WITH THE GLOW PLUG
BECAUSE IFF I DON`T DO THAT THE ENGINE STOP INMEDIATLY.
IS THIS NORMAL?
2- I SAW THAT THE CARBURATOR DROPS FUEL WEN THE ENGINE STOP

ANY COMENTS ABOUTR THAT
ANY SUGESTION TO SET UP THE ENGINE
THANKS
MARCELO

Hi Marcelo,

Without knowing your setup detail, I will suggest the following. First try an OSF with OSA5 plug. If that does not work, lean the low-end out.

RE: 3M-170

Hello!

I have experienced somewhat the same on my 3M-140. It started quite well and ran on idle, but i couldnt get it to the top end of the throttle-register; it was running way to much out on the needle. But when flying, it seemed to run lean. I then replaced with an OS F and an OS A5-plug, and things smoothed out.
