Biplanes for Pattern

I am looking for some coments on using 2M biplanes for comps i.e CPLR Suxess and Chips Double Vision. I know a small number have been used withing the past two years but I have never had the chance to see them perform. I am intrested to know if this is going to be more comen with todays slower flying styiles and with the criper snap rolls.

I turned a Dr. Jekyl into a biplane last year with limited success. There's pictures of it on a thread around here somewhere. The rudder coupling seemed to vary with speed, so if you mixed out the coupling at mid throttle, it would pull to the canopy during stall turns. And then when you were foolling around at higher speed, or if you happened to enter a manuever at a higher speed that usual, the plane would do things wou wouldn't expect. I'm sure Chip's double vision does a lot better job, but I found it frustrating to fly a biplane in competition.
