Splendor-when??
 

I am curious when Quique's new design -Splendor will come out. Does anybody know when??
Maybe Quique can tell us? [:-]

We're working on it. The final drafts of the design are complete, but we still have to nail down manufacturing. We want to do this as a state-of-the-art, mostly pre-built kit that people can afford. Not such an easy thing to accomplish with low volume Pattern kits. A meeting scheduled for next week will evaluate current proposals. I'm optimistic for a positive result that will kick off a public announcement of the project, but we'll see.

We've known Quique for years, but this is our 1st opportunity to work with him professionally. He really designs his own stuff. When we all "got serious" about the project he showed up with a complete, hand drawn, full scale set of plans. I about fell on the floor in surprise. Usually, what you get is something "scribbled on the back of a napkin" - if you're lucky.

Lee, what do you consider "state of the art"? Just curious as to the type of construction methods we can expect.

I know it's probably too early to get real specific, but how affordable are we talking about? Focus 2 range?
