Hello !

I'm shure it's a MK Aurora. I had one of these beautiful an fast pattern several years ago. My plane was finished in the colour sheme of japanese Mr Naruke, who flew it at the world-champion-ship in Flevohof/Netherlands in 1985. See image:[img][/img]

RE: NEED HELP can you name my patternship ?

thanks
it was sixty size with an OS 61 FSR and what a great flying airplane - very fast but very stable.
I am guessing it was a Premiere Pattern Ship, back in its HayDay. I'd say probably in the '80's.
If you guys would know anyone who has the plans or a KIT (not likely) please let me know.
Is MK the company that sold the kits or part of the plane's name?
Thanks for all your replies. I am sure going to MISS that plane.

The Blue Angel guys may be on the right track. I flew Auroras for several years and can tell this is not by the last third of the fuselage profile on the bottom, the belly pan at the nose, and the canopy profile. Nice looking ship, though!

Only pics of my Blue Angel that I have....it's in storage up north in my dad's basement......basement?

I built it years ago for dad, but he said it brought back so many memories of 70's pattern that he couldn't put it in the air. For now, it's a show/hanger queen. I had it setup for taildragger with Rhom Air's and a bluehead (supertigre) .61. Never put a radio in it, but it was really light at that point.......darn, I gotta go get that thing from him.......

That airplane looks like a Cosmos 60 the predecessor to the Aurora. I have two of them. One flying well sorta and another that is about 50% complete.
