Great Planes Venus Center of Gravity?
 

I'm a novice when it comes to setting up Pattern plane so I have a question regarding my Venus' CG. When quickly throttling back (hands off) the plane maintains a pretty good trajectory without an abrupt drop. But when I test it inverted I have to hold quite a bit of down elevator so taking my hands off the controls is out of the question. Should I move the CG back? If so how much from the factory recommendation (this is where the CG is now).

Thanks! I pretty much had that info. I guess I will just move the CG back in small increments and see how it feels.

Sorry Gary, I read your subject line and responded to that.

As to your problem, I'd look at moving the CG back to about the 5-inch mark. If I remember right, this will require moving the battery to the slot behind the servo tray. After your changes try some knife-edge and inverted flight, if you’re pulling to the canopy add one to two turns of "neg" to the ailerons for trim.
