Here are few on my 2 meter Aries

I use flat head 4-40 machine bolts and recess them for a flat fit on the side of the fuse. Make sure to use locktite to secure the nuts. I have had a few vibrate off before.

I use a 1/4 balsa root rib with 1/8 lt ply to reinforce the area at the adjuster tubes. Some guys use 1/8 lt ply for the complete rib and then make lightening holes.

Just happen to be doing some root ribs this morning...

These are 1/8 ply. The adjuster socket will go in the rear hole, a 1/4-20 nylon bolt will go in the front. (nylon nut glued to the backside of the rib)

Scott thanks for the prompt update, you mentioned that the adjuster will be installed in the back side, I was looking over some arf that came with their own wing adjusters pattern type arf. like world models Groovy, I noticed on the groovy the adjuster is installed in the front and back end, going over the details that came with the gator wing adjusters there is a mention of having the install in the leading and trailing edge of the wing, any particular reason as to why you opted to go with a trainling edge installl.

My specific application will be a for a Biplane, is there a specific need to having 2 wing adjusters per wing rin trailing and leading edge ?

If you have any other pics of completed installs that would also help.

Thanks.

When using a bolt to secure the wing half, it can replace either adjuster. I just happen to have more open space in the fuse up front to install the nuts. If you use any other method of securing the wing, you'll probably need two adjusters per wing.
