Electric Olympian
:D Got my C-50 and 10S3P's for Christmas. Took about 8 hrs to convert my Olympian from a YS-140. Have about 8 fllights so far. Flight's 2 and 3 were with the 22x12 prop - big time power. Went to a 20x11 for the rests, with calm winds I have more than enough power for Masters.
Love electric so farl. |
RE: Electric Olympian

RE: Electric Olympian
Billy,
Now all you have to do is bring it to a contest so some more of us can see it. Or, try not to schedule your contest during a hurricane again:D. I look forward to seeing it. Were you able to make the weight? Emory. |
RE: Electric Olympian
:D Took it to the post office this morning and it weighed 11 lbs and 5.3 ozs. Hard to get the batteries back in the plane, and forgot to weigh them before putting then in. They are 2 TP 5s3P Lites - what ever they weigh.
Only have about 15 flights now - still looking good (plane, not my flying). Full power on the ground draws about 47 amps, at 5550 rpms on the 20x11. Have a 20x13 and a 20x15 to try next to maybe get the speed up for windy days. |
