Wing and fuse bags

Hi,
I think that I am going to have to make a set of wing abd fusebags for my 2M model, but unfortunately, my sewing skills are that of a typical man. My models are prone to jjjuuuusssstttt a little bit of hangar rash. (Ok, alot!) I want wing bags that can take it if I accidently 'drop' the wing, or both bags to take if a screwdriver falls or something. I don't do that often, just in case though. I kinda got a picture of what to use, a nice soft material, I forgot what its called, but it is very soft and light weight. Then, a layer of bubble wrap or something, then a hard layer of durable material, again, I forgot the name of it. Anyway, the wing would be pretty easy to make I think, just like covering it with one colour, and no cuts, but how the hell do you make a fuse bag? Should I opt for making a box instead? It has plug in wings, so its not toooo hard. (It has a one piece tail though). I prefer the bags, as it doesn't take up so much space.
Thanks,
Robert.

Wing and fuse bags

I know you said you're going to build your own, but here is a site that I was pretty impressed with that has both wing and fuse sets.

I'm also not sure if I'll make my own or buy some, however given the materials and hassle factor these prices look pretty good.

If nothing else maybe it'll give you some ideas of how to build the fuse bag.
