Nats Numbers

Hey Everyone.

Have seen the reports on the Nats and the projected pilot #'s but nothing on the actual numbers. We all know Imac was down by at least a 1/3 from last year. Some say from gas $$.

On the NSRCA list prior to the Nats the projected # for pattern was 120, so how many actually showed up??

I think that the report says 110. The surprizing number is the amount of top notch flyers that showed up for FAI. Its a virtual whos who of pattern.

Ed,

For the IMAC case, I believe that the holiday weekend was a factor. I had the same problem in a pattern contest that I decide to do it in the 4th of July weekend. That prove to be a wrong decision. Next year, I am planing to schedule the contest after the holiday weekend.

For the Nats pattern I think the participation is very similar to last year.

Regards,

Plus IMAC has several big events they can attend. Nats isn't as big a deal to them.

Very good point. They are used to the big events having significant $ prizes which the Nats will never have. Mike
