RE: Fliton quality?

The original gear were cheap glass types and weighed in at around 10ozs. The carbon/balsa laminated replacements weighed 1 1/2 ozs Glass parts are typical arfie types.....fragile, but stayed together reluctantly. I added some carbon cloth to the screw holes for strength. Why would a dyed in the wool pattern animal want to fly such a beastie?? Heck I don't know.....seemed like a good idea at the time, and the price was right. MattK |
