Elevator throw.

OK.....I've re-started my build on the CA models Eclipse that I'm converting to a modified one.

What is the normal elevator throw?

I've single edged beveled mine and get about 32degrees out of them. I never measured my original Eclipse before I sold it so I don't know if I got enough.

Help!!!

RE: Elevator throw.

32 deg is way too much for pattern.

The experts say around 15 -18 deg of MAX throw depending on the ship, during normal flight even less I imagine.

I set my aerobats up with 12˚ max throws on elevator, and so far have always toned them down from that (to 9-10).

That is what I figured I would need.

I thought I was about 10 degrees of throw (being used). I just wanted to make sure with hardcore pattern guys first.

Thanks.....I'll finish sanding and then update my wayyyyyyy old build thread.
