stick tension

hi all ... i was just thinking one of these days ... what is a better stick tension for pattern ? stiff stiks or sloppy ones ?

The stiffer the better.

Whatever you prefer... Just pick a way, and practice with it so you know what to expect during competition. I actually prefer my sticks to be a little softer, after feeling the Bryan Hebert's are, it felt more like I was just thinking about moving the sticks rather than actually moving them.

Most pattern pilots prefer the stick tension to be tighter to prevent inadvertent movement of anything other than the surface you're trying to move. In fact, Radio South sells special stiffer springs because the ones that come with the transmitters aren't stiff enough for many pilots.
