thrust for showtime 90
 

anybody know about the thrust on this plane??? I have had to add up thrust because it climbs when I cut the throttle.I have yet to fly it since I have done this so I haope that is all it is. Any one else have this problem?? normaly arfs come with the thrust already taken care of but maybe its different if you add a engine thats not recomended I dont know????I am using the YS 110. any comments woould be appreciated

I'm using a OS120AX with factory thrust offset. No issues that I've detected so far after about 16 flights.

I have been flying my Showtime for over a year and have had no thrust issues. Just used the stock setup with a Webra 1.20. I did have an issue with the stab incidence. I don't know how they did it, but one half was good and the other a few degrees either up or down. Can't remember anymore.

How are things going in Lincoln? I'm over in Hastings.

things are fine here usually never hear from someone so close thanks for the input I have heard of someone else mentioning the incidence was off before too. Maybe its a cg issue I am a little tail heavy right now.

I just put a post on the Mike McConville thread regarding this. I have the same problem of needing up trim to fly level. Then, it floats along when throttled back. Best I can tell, my ST has 1.4 degrees of down at the prop hub. Didn't measure it at the firewall, but will tonight. My CG is set back to 8 1/16th trying to correct this condition.

If you left the stock fuel tank setup in the plane, you should be looking to see if it behaves the same way at the beginning of the tank & at the end of the tank.

Its tailheavy. Move the CG forward.
