Venus ll - Balance point

If I used a Super Tigre G-90 Ringed engine in the venus ll, would it balance better with the servos in the front or rear?

What about an OS 91 surpass - Front or rear?

please reply here

RE: Venus ll - Balance point

Hi Charlie and any other Venus II flyers in here.
I am seriously thinking or getting a Venus II.
I have an OS 120 AX. Would this be a good choice or do I need to get
something else? (Not gonna go 4-cycle).
Also are there any other ARF airplanes which I should consider?
I'm an old pattern flyer from wayi back and just returning to RC after
many years. Not interested in competition any more, but I do want to
fly pattern airplanes.
Any and all opinions and advice is welcome.
Best Regards
JC

RE: Venus ll - Balance point

The 120 is what every one is recommending in the 2 stroke. I have the 91FX in mine and it struggles at times.

Charlie. I would put the gear in teh rear. Might even think about moving the battery back there too. You will most likely be adding tail weight.
