Getting into pattern

Well I have been flying IMAC for about two years now and now want to get into pattern. Mainly to help me with my precision aerobatics. Any good starter planes??? I have a YS 110 and two powerful super tiger motors. Also any other information I might need. I am in the south east region. Thanks

The Focus Sport would be a really good option for your YS 1.10, Kevin.

I have flown the prototype and I was pleasantly surprised at its flying qualities. Check it out, www.piedmontmodels.com

Hi

The CMPro Leo 110 is designed and made for the 110....Also seen the 90 size synergy go very well with the 110 but the Leo 110 is a really super-looking bird.

It flies on tracks and can perform right up to F3a level in the right hands - I'm still at "sportsman" level for now. My instructor was able to fly the complete schedule.

Do you need 4 stroke for a pattern plane?

I have an OS 55AX looking for an airframe and love to put it in a pattern plane.

Do you have anything that is under 5kg and 2m? Everyone thinks they need a new plane to start pattern but most CD's will be very flexible for Sportsman pilots. Check the NSRCA webpage and the intro thread here and jump in. The water is fine.

Don't you fly over in Griffin?

Yeah Emory is the VP for the southeast, and he can get you pointed in the right direction. If he can't, just give me a call and I'll try and help.
