NMP Long vs Extra Long Axles?

Hey all, Im building a Genesis and was recommended by a friend to use the NMP axles, the long version. The trouble is I cant find those anywhere and the Central Hobbies website and catalog only have "extra-long" offered. Does anyone know:
a) where a guy could find 2 of the NMP long version axles
b) if the extra long will work

Thanks!

If you are using wheels over 2.25" dia. the extra long versions are probably a better bet.

Just order the extra long. You could cut it if your wheels fits the shorter slot. The extra long comes with both grooves already. I agree with Rodney. If you use larger wheels you will need the extra long.

Sorry, nearly forgot a worthwhile mod. The NMP alen bolts are a pain and will eventually strip out. Change to 1" DB 4-40 ball link bolts. They fit right in and will last for ever.
