Small pattern plane for winter training: info and building log

Hello guys,
first of all let me wish you happy new year!

I'm glad to share with you a project that we (a friend of mine and I) are starting right now. It's a small pattern plane that we designed in order to do some F3A training during winter time :)

Main specs are the following:

- wingspan and length of 1 meter
- made of depron
- very light: target weight is 500gr
- very high power to weight ratio: motor will be an Hacker A20-20L (or 22L), APC 10x4,7
- very low wing loading: about 21 gr/dm^2

If you are interested, you can find the building log along with pictures and design plans here:

Any comment is welcome!
