That's too bad . . they made GREAT stuff.

The (Australian) factory was about 20 minutes from my house. Always a good source of product, materials, and knowledge . . and a fantastic supporter of Pattern in Australia over the years. I actually managed to get my name on the BOLLY sponsored Perpetual Cup for Pattern in South Australia the year before last.

Yes. this is SAD [sm=cry_smile.gif]

Aren't the Bolly gear/props made in China now? If so then perhaps someone else will pick up the line...

I believe so . . The last set of F3A gear and spats/wheel pants had a tag on them with "China" and "Australia" boxes on it. These had the "China" box ticked . . and they weren't quite as good as the Australian made. Still good, but not AS good.

Oh well, I guess mr Bollenhagen has had his day with models.

I wonder what's going to happen to all the moulds?

I guess so . . it's possibly all a matter of resources, and he is probably tooo busy with his full size props and stuff ?? [8|

I am sure that for a long time, full size stuff has been the main source of income, and model products was a hobby, and unfortunately now I guess they don't have time for the "hobby" [:o]

There was a guy at the Australian factory (whose name escapes me . . Steve??). His workmanship was/is awesome, and he has helped me a couple of times with info and technique for laying up Carbon Tow . .

Anyway . . we'll see.

Cheers, JB

Well I never used bolly gear, but I always heard good things about them. It seems that a good company has left.
