Can anyone provide a name and or manufacturer's name for the model shown in the photo? I purchased it at an auction, and the previous owner can not remember the names.

Reminds me of the Jetsons. You should call it Astro. :D

Looks to me like a Patriot. (Does anyone need one?)

I was going to say Omen, but I agree with Adrian and Tim.

Thanks guys.

It could be an Ariel, or possibly a Patriot. If the picture entered by KCNelson is the Patriot, then mine could be also, as they do look very similar.

Whether it is one or the other, does any one know the manufacturer, so I could get some info?

Not quite. There may be some similarities, but barring any outright copying of a design, they all look different to an extent. Plus, they're all a variation of what works. If you have something that's too far off the beaten path of current pattern designs, there's a good chance it'll fly like poo.

I believe Dick Hanson manufactured the Ariel, and Bryan Hebert produced the Patriot. Bryan is still pumping airplanes out, his website is www.hebertcompetitiondesigns.com, and Dick Hanson is a member on here. He pokes his head in occasionally, so he may see this and pipe in.
